- Answer This is a good cable modem and will work for cable and internet. It does not have a jack for phone if your phone service is the internet phone type (VOIP).

QuestionSo I have an issue with this router. I’m getting serious lag with games on my Xbox one X and I get disconnected from WiFi during a daily basis with my computer when on zoom. I’m in an apartment complex so I’m not sure if that’s an issue. Help?

- Answer I upgraded to this router as I work from home and needed higher upload speed and this works great for me. Has not dropped Zoom calls or even when I'm moving files. Works great. I live in a single home in a development. Good luck.

- Answer No. This is a cable modem and not a DSL type. The performance of this device using a cable provider is outstanding. There are several reviews indicating that it would not work with CenturyLink. .
