• One is a router and is connected to my modem and the other one is a satellite that is placed on the other end of my house to boost the wifi signal everywhere

• One of them is the router you can directly connect to your modem. You can then sync the satellite with the router via its mobile app or you can configure your wifi settings via web browser. The router only has an internet port and one ethernet port.
