The RS200 is as you mentioned Wifi 7, so ditching that and going with the AX3000 mesh would be a downgrade, since it is only WiFi 6 generation. Wi-Fi 7 is a significant upgrade over Wi-Fi 6, offering up to 46 Gbps theoretical speeds, which is nearly 5 times faster than Wi-Fi 6 9.6 Gbps. Key advantages include wider 320 MHz channel bandwidth, a more advanced 4096-QAM modulation, and the new Multi-Link Operation (MLO) that allows devices to use multiple bands at once for lower latency and improved reliability.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able to use the RS200 WiFi 7 router but will probably need to connect the AX3000 Mesh system router into it. I have an older Nighthawk system and the AX3000 system. I plugged the old system directly into the modem provided by my ISP and no problems. The same ISP started providing their own router with newer installs, I had to use that router but connecting the AX3000 system router to it with an Ethernet cable; was only able to do this after my ISP put their router in bridge mode. I would think that since you are connecting Netgear router to Netgear mesh you won’t need to do this. There is a help topic on the Netgear website explaining how to use the mesh router as a satellite but it didn’t do me any good because by ISP router was interfering and had be used in bridge mode. The mesh system covers my entire house well even with limited placement of the router. Hope this helps and good luck setting it all up, I am a Luddite and I was able to work through it.
