The router itself does not have parental controls, only the app, which will allow you to set up profiles for the kids.

I don’t use the parental controls but viewed them on the Nighthawk app and they appear to be easy to use and you can adjust them through the app.

The nighthawk app also requires a subscription for parental controls and the app to be on the children’s devices.
