2500 sq ft would most likely be the max theoretical distance you should expect. Remember that your WiFi is essentially going to broadcast from the center of the antenna array and is only partially directional so placing it in the corner of the bottom floor of your home is less than ideal. Unless you can place this in the center of your home, you might be better suited using a mesh system.
