If you setup the WRT1900AC in access point mode and hard wire the routers together, it should work. You will lose the special features of the WRT1900AC, but the RAX80 features should replace them.

Got a 1100sqft house with this router in coat closet and a LOT of wifi tech throughout (3 smart tvs, 5 game consoles, 3 portable consoles, bluray player, 2 laptops, and smart home) and swapped out mesh wifi for this single router. But if you're setup demands the bridge, yes, your devices connected to the bridge/ extender will always get the lesser capabilities. Sadly, it's just how things work.
