You can not turn off the WiFi, but you can buy a non WiFi router to attach your wired devices.
You attach an Ethernet cable from one of the WiFi LAN port to the non WiFi router and the remaining ports are ready for just wired devices
A:AnswerI believe that this will work with a Spectrum modem. I installed a very similar Netgear RS90 router about 3 months ago using the Nighthawk app. If in doubt, you can call Spectrum.
A:AnswerIt would not be economical to do so. If you need to connect a modem direct to one or more devices, this can be done using the ethernet port. If you need more connection points, try searching for a ethernet switch which can be purchased for around $20.
