• A:Answer Works with RCN. As for the router, I have my ARUS router attached and it works fine. None: clone MAC address of computer to the modem. ISP’s don’t like routers connected to modems.

• A:Answer I currently am using this modem, NETGEAR CM1000 32X8 MODEM, for WiFi only as I too do not have cable TV. I also use the NETGEAR RAX48 AX5200 ROUTER. All I do is stream programs from the variious Apps i've downloaded onto my Sony Smart TV. With this combination, I have no issues streaming through Amazon Prime, Netflix and a whole host of other Apps. Easy, Peasy.
