It theoretically should. I don’t have that exact router, but this is supposed to work with any router. However if you were trying to put this in the dead zone you would probably have to run a physical network cable to it to get it to work, because it needs a signal to repeat. It’s also very hard to answer the reduction in bandwidth from various devices. If those devices are currently using bandwidth then the total bandwidth is obviously going to be reduced, no matter what router/extender you are using. I have this extender paired with a nighthawk router and have no problems streaming HD movies through my network to multiple TVs while phones and iPads are using the Internet. This item did significantly boost the wireless signal much further than my router was.
