It depends on how fast your internet service. If your internet service is fast than it worked really well. For exam if your internet service is 100mb per second it should be fine using wi-fi or wire If 5 or more people are using the internet at the same.

I bought mine for gaming and the only problems I have had are it staying connected and being able to access the website to configure my router. Even with Netgear support. It all depends on where you live and your internet company I guess.
