I have AT&T U-verse and I purchased this router. It won't make your connection speed faster but it will help stabilize your ping and it gives you other features to help reduce lag. If you get it you need to make sure you first turn off your Wi-Fi from your AT&T router. Connect the Nighthawk router to your AT&T router and that's all you will have to do other then setup your new router. Although it will not increase your connection speed I do see a more stable connection & I get a longer Wi-Fi range with this router.
