Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am a little confused with your question but I will answer it as best I can with the assumption you are taking about Belkin’s routers. This router, if bought, would be a replacement to your Belkin. The ISP (Cox, Tine Warner, etc.) you are using would be giving the signal to your router whether it be the Belkin or the Netgear. In short, either Belkin or Netgear will work the exact same and you could interchange them at will. The only incentive to buy a router like this is to have lower latency and improved spatial signal coverage. To reiterate, the Belkin Router you have right now is not wholly your WiFi. Your ISP (Cox, Time Warner, etc.) Sends you your signal over cable which gets sent through a modem and then routed to any router (Belkin, Netgear, Asus, etc.) Given this, any router from any brand will work but it depends upon your certain use case and what you want out of your WiFi. This means that you don’t have to change anything else to netgear as it is just a distributor at the end of your signal chain. I hope this answered your question.
