Hi gary yes but your restricted to the preloaded vpn providers on this router. Honestly in my opinion it all depends on what you will be using your vpn for but if your trying to use it for gaming (ex: PS4)I’d say stay away from this router. Streaming movies from other countries expect a lot of buffering. The vpn part of this router makes the connection extremely slow and unreliable at times even on my 1 Gig internet plan, you will get constant error codes from PSN and Netgear can’t fix it and the vpn provider told me this is not a good router for vpn. I was recommended an Asus router.
