Q: Questioni have a ring camera that is 75 feet from this router, and getting such a poor signal that the camera misses most of the action that occurs right in front of it. would a range extender be the right solution, and if so, which range extender is recommended?

• A:Answer If your router has a 2 networks showing (SSID) and a 2nd SSID that says "5G" use the first SSID for the Ring doorbell. regular Wi-Fi is a little slower but has better range, the "5G" on some routers has better speed but less coverage range. Also look on support forums for Ring doorbell, they sometimes recommend what channel to set your router radio frequency to for optimal connection.
