Sd this is used to expand the ports on a internet connected device such as a home router. Most routers only have 2 to 3 ports. It essentially expands the number of connections (ports) on the back of the internet router.

This device is an Ethernet switch, not a router or wireless access point. It does not have any wireless capabilities in it. You need to hard wire Ethernet cables from your computing devices to this switch.
