Yes, it will work with a regular home internet setup for any device you wish to connect directly (hardwired). It will not boost your router speed and does not have wireless capability. It only allows wired connections between your devices and your home route. Think of it as a port expander for your router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it works on any network. It really doesn't boost speed, but allows QOS control. It is a slightly fancy 8 port switch. With a dedicated port (1) for gaming device, port 2 is a streaming device, Port 8 is uplink to your main router. No wifi, sorry. As with any internet network, the less devices running at same time, the better throughput the network seems. Speed comes from ISP service.
