My Comcast service provider technician was at my house because of an issue I had and he recommended this unit. I bought it and installed it which was very easy and it certainly works great. My TV has a smart connection and it's in the basement with the router upstairs and I have no problem at all with its connection.

Where you mount/place your router can impact WiFi coverage. I have my X10 mounted on a wall in the middle of the house on the 1st floor. Always have a very strong signal inside.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve heard it’s not but they do have an excellent range extender that I’ve seen is now available also going under the nighthawk name. Not sure if re price though but I definitely like this router.
