You will most likely need a DOCSIS 3.1 modem for these speeds. Any router purchased in today's market should be gigabit capble.

Check all of your devices to see if they are 5Ghz capable and if so will they do 802.11ac (fastest utilizing the 5Ghz band). 2.4Ghz band is band limited thus slower speeds. 2. Do you live in a large house. 1800 sq ft or lower this unit should be fine. More I would look at the X6, X8, X10 Nighthawk routers. I've had them all and in my 2350 sq ft house I'm using the highly rated Netgear Orbi system. I Love It!! Check out YouTube videos of the Orbi system or any of the others I mentioned above. 3. How much are you willing to spend. I hope you find or have found something to enjoy your new speeds!!
