Yes you can set up for guest. Guest set up is in a separate area and can have its own password.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not hard at all, as easy as changing the name and password to the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any router that has a guest account option will just have a on/off switch in the software. Be mindful, this is a nice gesture but ANYONE within the coverage area is now able to access your network. You are secure by default, but think about your bandwidth. Ex; if you live in a apartment building it IS nice to offer your friends that come over access to the guest account but EVERYWHERE that wifi signal reaches now has access to YOUR internet access. Meaning the more people on your network the slower your network becomes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can set up one and it's very simple. Just login in to router and you can just click guest network and enable it and just choose whether you want to password protect it or not. Couple minutes probably. I have mine set up just not enabled so if someone comes over all I have to do is hit enable and your good to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a way to setup a Guest network. If you follow the prompts, it will ask you to install the Netgear Genie app. Install that app for your PC and then go to the Router Settings. There will be a tab called Guest Access. Use that tab to configure a guest network.
