A:AnswerYes. It still requires an active internet connection and if the Magic Jack is usb it will have to be plugged into a computer and not the modem. If the Magic Jack has an ethernet port it can be plugged directly into the router.
A:AnswerWill not replace it as the FIOS router accepts the coaxial cable. It can act as internal router while you use the FIOS router as a border router and disable it's wireless broadcast. The Netgear router does not accept coaxial cable input.
A:AnswerIt does work with U-Verse, but only as a replacement for wireless networking or direct connection of a computer etc. Your TV and Phone will still have to come from the U-Verse router. There are good instructional videos online showing how to set this up.
