“Hello, does this work as a router extender to the wifi I already have or is it a satellite by itself and has its own wifi? I live in the country side and I'm looking for solutions to speed up my internet”

This is so you can get a consistent coverage in your home. For instance I have a 4000 sq ft home. In order for us to get a good connection in the entire house I needed to purchase this so I can then place the 2 satellites in different parts of the house
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a router and the included satellite(s) work as extender(s). You can still keep your old router connected and active, which I have done. Make sure your internet provider offers a faster speed than your current router can handle or a new router won't help much.
