From my understanding, they can piggyback off each other. There is a screen in the user interface called “Network Map”. That screen will show a flow chart type relationship map of your router and satellites. When I first set my system up this chart showed my router feeding my satellite 1, and satellite 1 feeding satellite 2 in a line. Now it shows my router feeding both satellite 1 and satellite 2 more in an upside down “Y” configuration. I’ve attached what the latter description looks like. I assume this pattern changed based on the system always looking for the best configuration for the users needs. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They piggyback off each other to extend the range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The satellites piggy back off the router and extend the reach for your WiFi. I have a 5 level split house and my WiFi was dropping on the 4th level. I put one satellite in the basement and no more dropped WiFi. I would recommend, I love it!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe they all connect to the home base unit so you should try to put that central in your house.
