- Answer The Orbi comes with a one year subscription to NetGear Armor which includes Bitdefender Security according to the Armor documentation. I have not downloaded Bitdefender but it certainly looks like it would be compatible and NetGear Armor even encourages you to install Bitdefender.

QuestionCan anyone tell me why the 5g SSID is 'Hidden' and inaccessible on this mesh system? I have some devices that work much better at 5G but they won't connect to that network. It is set to broadcast.

- Answer “No”. I have nearly the same situation with an Arlo camera. WiFi to camera was at 2 bars with a 2 year older Nighthawk router. New ORBI10 with mesh extender made absolutely no difference in signal strength despite satellite is 30 ft closer which is still at 2 bars. For the $300, look at other alternatives.

- Answer I have added to my existing Orbi system by just buying another Orbi Satellie. It adds easily through the AP. You can also direct connect a device to it by CAT-5 cable to get maximum coverage in an outlying location of your home.

QuestionI just purchased the Orbi and works great but I have a Blue ADT security system that can only be run at 2G's. Can the Orbi's router be split between 2G and 5G?

- Answer Yes! I have Blue by ADT Security system and if you just do a web search for how to split between 5G and 2.4G the problem was solved. Fixed it all by myself in under 5 minutes.

- Answer Based on what I read, you max out with 3 satellites via wifi. I have not tried adding an extra satellite via ethernet https://www.windowscentral.com/how-many-orbi-mesh-points-do-you-need
