QuestionHello, after connecting the Orbi mesh, should I disconnect the ATT extenders or will they aid in the wifi coverage in my house? Thank you.

- Answer Unplug them & see if all devices can connect via the mesh router. If they can, don't turn them back on. Any device that connects to extenders instead of to the mesh routers will get much less speed. In addition, they will clog the throughput of devices that ARE using the mesh routers.

- Answer The best modems for speed are the docsis 3.1 modems. Those will have the best speed capability. I’m a believer in you get what you pay for. Just get a stand alone modem because your Orbi mesh will provide your WiFi and Ethernet connections.

QuestionI’m not confident that Orbi all in one will work with Cox after reading some of the reviews. Does anyone know for sure.

- Answer I have Cox and got this product working with it, and it works well. The only issue was the set-up, which couldn't be completed through the app. I ended up calling customer support and the rep walked me through setting it up from the web.

- Answer Yes, I would recommend this WIFI system but you are going to need a modem to attach one of the units to it. I have cable serviced by Spectrum and they provided the modem.

QuestionDoes Wi-Fi directly from the router and Wi-Fi from the satellite, both have the same power, i.e. 3 GBPS? Is it possible to buy a single additional satellite to add on if needed? If so, will 2nd satellite work if only in range of 1st satellite, not router?

- Answer I am using one router with 2 satellites, no issues. Lightning killed my first router but spared my satellite, I bough another router with satellite and it is working like a charm.

- Answer Yes. The range is pretty vast. I have a multi story home with my modem in the basement. With the Orbi it reaches from my basement all the way to the top floor with no problem

QuestionWill be Orby AC 3000 work with the Orbi AC 2200 satellites. I have two AC 2200 satellite said I would like to migrate to an AC 3000 system. I’d like to know if that would work

- Answer yes. it is backwards compatible. you can connect your satellite routers to any Orbi Mesh router setup. I had the old version where I had to connect the satellite to the wall like a plug in but I upgraded and it still works. You just have to make your new orbi router the main router and use the others as mesh. Good luck!

- Answer They should work fine. Once connected disable the WIFI in your modem.

- Answer We have a 1500+ sq ft home, tri-level, with large wood deck out back and a small lanai out front. The main router is located in a bedroom at one end of the house, the 2nd at the 2nd level of the house. We also run 2 computers, 2 lap tops, 3 phones and 2 smart TVs off of it and have not experiencd any problems to date. This is the best router we have owned. Hook up is simple.

QuestionI have Comcast Internet service and use the Comcast provided modem and router. My home is 3200 ft.² and two stories.The modem/router is on the second floor. I lose connectivity for my VPN when working on certain areas of my first floor. suggestions please

- Answer Get the Orbi AC3000 Two pack and you won’t have anymore problems. It says it covers up to 5,000 sq ft and it actually does. I can go anywhere in my house and even anywhere outside and still have WiFi coverage
