“Will this modem work with verizon fios cable and replace they're router?”

• No - there is another version of Orbi that will work with Fios but requires you keep the Fios modem. However, WiFi coverage is greatly improved and very worthwhile.

• Yes. It does not function with an auxillaty cable box. Only with hardwired ones.
