• The lights are not supposed to flash. They should all light solidly.

• Yes it just means it is on the edge of its limitations. I have quite a few in this state.

• Actually you don't want them Flashing. If Flashing or changing colors that means you have line noise in data path from primary unit to secondary unit. All Green means it is working correctly.

• It's based on the strength of your signal. I have green lights and I have 200 feet distance between my adapters. It is normal to have a red light under certain circumstances. You would be limited to 50 mbps or less with a red light.
