As long as you have an open port/slot (RJ-45). No problem. need to remember extenders allow the WiFi signal to reach places otherwise are not reachable due to building construction and nasties that block WiFi. The item in this inquiry are power line adapters. which will allow you to extend the LAN cable connector to any other part or your building/home. having that in mind it would be like having a router wherever you have an electrical outlet. So you would now have a LAN connection to plug into your laptop/computer into for network connection. Hope this helped.
