• If the TV has an Ethernet port you should be fine. If not, Netgear has another product(PLW1000) that will provide WiFi for such devices. Works the same--installs the same--does more--costs more.

• What type of TV? Is it a SmartTV? Are you attempting to gain stronger signal for apps? This will extend the range of your network. The ethernet adapter would be the strongest dedicated signal though.

• Rich, this model requires an RJ45 connection to the TV, unless, perhaps, you might connect a wireless router to the Powerline via RJ45. That will likely require setting it up as a second, named wireless network that you would then identify in your TV settings.
