“Have had the Powerline 1200 for a month now. Does this device increase the data usage? I ask this because our provider says we're near the data limit for May, about 1000Gb's. Before using the device, our data usage was under 300Gb's. Any answers please.”

I have the Netgear Powerline 1000, I assume that it is similar to your 1200. I have not reached any limit yet that I know of, Nor has anyone notified me of such. I do know that my provider is AT&T nd I am supposed to have 100 gb. Sometimes I was operating only at 30 gb. Not Gooood. your provider might be the same spy company as mine? one called AT&T? I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS DEVICE. I hope you will be too.
