“I will be using two apartments. 60 yr old building. One on 11th floor and one on the 3rd (business/office). Do you think that it's possible to use these from one to the other apartment or would a wifi extender out on the balcony (they're under each)?”

This extends the range up to 500 meters, or 1,680 feet, so the extender should work in either configuration unless there is interference with the signal.

That’s a good one. I would guess not as I expect there is too much separation in the electrical system. But I’m not an expert. Even the WiFi extender might be too far away. Good luck.

Not sure however it you get it from Best Buy and it does not work they will let you return it.
