• This is wired only but you can add a router to extend your network.

• Not unless you want it hard wired. What you want is a wifi range extender . Same look , just different purpose.

• Yes, it is, if using a second router. In fact, that is exactly what this device is for. And it is very easy to use. I recommend it highly.

• Sure you can. I used one of these powerline adapter to connect a second router in a weak WIFI part of the house. You will have to give that wireless network another name since you don't have a wireless management which is another thing. But yes it is possible and easy.

• Yes. These units simply extend the Ethernet to the area desired. Then you would plug in a Wi-Fi access point (AP) to broadcast the Wi-Fi signal.

• You could definitely bridge a wired connection to an access point in order to extend the network. I have done this exact setup with ubiquiti access points with great success.

• Yes, just hoot a wireless router up to the other end, I just did it with my Netgear AC 1750 Cable Modem Router and Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Router. Buy 2 Cat 5e cables to replace the ones that come with it.
