Although I purchased a Netgear N router unit that had sufficient published range, I was unable to get a Wi-Fi signal to consistently reach the far end of my home. I kept losing signal while doing homework on my laptop and constantly losing my signal while streaming NETFLIX. So I purchased a Netgear N series unit as a bridge and placed it in a convenient out of sight area more than half the length of my home. Now I get full bars and zero streaming interruptions. It was easy to connect to my main unit by logging on and following the connections steps that linked it to my main router. Worth the $60 at Best Buy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend the Linksys RE2000 Wireless Range Extender N300 Dual Band . I have one & it works great & I'm 70-75 yards away from my wireless router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Netgear EX 6200 extender.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This NETGEAR - Universal Wi-Fi Dual-Band Range Extender with 4-Port Ethernet Switch won't extend signals 40-50 yards. My unit extends wifi signals out to the street, which is about 60 feet (20 yards) away. Try running an ethernet line from your main house router to the garage, and either connecting a 4 port switch to the ethernet line at the garage, or connecting a wireless router to the ethernet line in the garage to create a new wifi source in the garage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the price and the product, you can't beat it. I was very pleased and would highly recommend it. Very similar incident issue as yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this range extender should easily give you a 50 yard coverage. we use it in our 4000 square foot house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without knowing the structure of your house and garage, I recommend purchasing one NETGEAR - IEEE 802.11n 600 Mbps Wireless Range Extender and place it in the room closest to your garage. The signal strength will be stronger to the garage. If still not strong enough, then buy another extender and place it in the garage and that should provide all the signal strength needed. I have friends with quad level houses and they have put a range extender in each level of their homes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just bought one to boost our signal to reach to our deck and screen porch. It work great, we now have 5 bars out side on the deck and screen porch.
