QuestionI would like to make my wireless router stronger, i want to signal to extend at least 50 yardsThe router is in the main house, i want the service to extend at least 45-50 yards to the garage because the signal isn't very strong. what product do I buy and which ones are the best.

- Answer Although I purchased a Netgear N router unit that had sufficient published range, I was unable to get a Wi-Fi signal to consistently reach the far end of my home. I kept losing signal while doing homework on my laptop and constantly losing my signal while streaming NETFLIX. So I purchased a Netgear N series unit as a bridge and placed it in a convenient out of sight area more than half the length of my home. Now I get full bars and zero streaming interruptions. It was easy to connect to my main unit by logging on and following the connections steps that linked it to my main router. Worth the $60 at Best Buy

QuestionWhat is the range of this router? I live in a townhouse and my router gets plugged up downstairs and I watch tv and play games upstairs.

- Answer I am not too sure about this but I can pick up my wifi up to my garage which is about 50 feet away from the router in the house. With the router extender I would think the distance may be enhanced, but you would have to check it out to see if that is the case.

- Answer Hello, I currently have this connected to my NetGear router wirelessly as a access point and connected two Ethernet ports to devices that monitor and control my garage doors wirelessly. I did it for the same reason not to have to run a network cable from the second floor to the first floor. I don't see any reason why this would not work. The access point acts as an extension to your current network and uses SSID for security. Regards,

- Answer After setting it up once. It will use your Wi-Fi signal to get internet. Then, just plug any non wireless device into one of the Ethernet ports on the extender or set it near the outer area of your router's range and use the Wi-Fi from the extender to go further than you were able to before.

- Answer You simply setup by following the instructions typing the password for your hotspot. It will then connect to it anytime it is within range.

- Answer I have WiFi in my house but it wasn’t reaching to an upstairs bedroom. I connected this extender and now I get WiFi everywhere in my house. I don’t think it has anything to do with a phone.

- Answer This extender is compatible with all internet. I’ve used it on COX, TWC, T1, cable, DSL, all had no issues. Atlantic Broadband is cable so there should be no issue. You can plug it in directly to the modem or you can catch the existing Wi-Fi to extend the range.

QuestionI have Frontier Internet service. However it runs slow on our smart TV and our firestick would this improve by not buffeting. In other words would this be the correct device?

- Answer That would depend. Is your TV next to your modem? If it is, buying this device will be of no use. If it is not, have you tried moving the TV closer to the modem? If it works just fine when it it closer to the modem, then that means the signal is too weak to reach the TV where you usually have it at and this extender will be perfect to strengthen your network signal to increase the speed.
