“Sprint hotspot I currently have a valid sprint contract with 2 lines as a family shared unlimited plan. If I want to add this hotspot to my current plan, will it cost as an additional phone line? Would it be better to start a new service for just the hotspot device as a fee for service only verses a contract?”

When i signed up for the hotspot best buy started a seoerate line for it. The associate i was working with is a wizard and it proved to be the most cost effective way to set it up. Beware sprint will only let you share up to 20 gigs for all your devices and the pricing is basically a slap to the face. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It was a new line of service and i added it to my existing contract. I did not want another contract to deal with. I also have multiple lines already. I would prefer to add it to my service and then if I wanted to drop it do so, I did that at one did with no issue. But, I missed it and got it back, lol.
