“I am looking for a continuous recording to a DVR. So I can view between the motion alerts to avoid missing anything. Does this system do that? Can I recieve desktop and phone notifications to view on either of those devices, like RING does?”

Yes, this NVR system does support continuous recording The Night Owl 10 Channel 1080p Wire-Free NVR System includes a 1TB hard drive, and while the default setting is motion-based recording (to extend battery life), you can switch to continuous 24/7 recording if you’re using AC-powered (plug-in) Wi-Fi cameras with the system. However, if you're using wire-free (battery-powered) cameras, continuous recording is not supported due to battery limitations.
