“Does this use WIFI or Bluetooth to connect the cameras with the DVR?”

• It doesn’t use Bluetooth or WiFi to connect the cameras. This system uses an Ad-hoc network to connect the cameras (the DVR emits it’s own network that the cameras connect to) this unfortunately does affect how far you can install the cameras from the DVR itself, but even with a wired camera system you are still limited on distance.

• Hi Ray. This system uses Bluetooth to help you easily setup and configure the system right from your Smart Device. The cameras do not connect via Wi-Fi. For remote viewing and advanced features, you will need to hardwire the DVR to your router or network access point using Ethernet cable. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
