QuestionWith A 20 Channel hybrid ... I would be able to add 20 wireless cameras if one wanted to with this dvr? If so what are the cons?

- Answer No. The 20 Channel Hybrid DVR has 16 x Wired Channels and 4 x Wireless Channels. So, you can add up to 16 x Wired 1080p cameras and up to 4 x 1080p Wireless devices (including our 1080p wireless cameras and doorbell). Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

- Answer If they are Night Owl wired BNC cameras and do not exceed 1080p resolution, then yes they will be. Unfortunately, Night Owl is not able to guarantee compatibility with any 3rd party brands. Often, cameras of the same technology will function with our systems, but we make no assurances. We can only ensure that our products will function with compatible Night Owl product. This Hybrid DVR will work with our standard analog, 720p and 1080p wired BNC cameras, our 1080p Wi-Fi IP cameras (WNVR201 / WNVRC20 Series) and our 1080p Smart Doorbell. - Answer Hi Lupe. You would need to contact Best Buy's GeekSquad, but calling the closest location to you. Or you can hire a 3rd party installer. Night Owl does not supply installation. Thank you.

QuestionHow does device fit in with the owl wired cameras throughout my house? I already have a owl system where the camera wires plug in. Do I still need the camera wires with this device to make the connection from the owl camera to the owl wireless device?

- Answer So... with this 20 Channel Hybrid DVR, you have 16 Wired Channels and 4 Wi-Fi Channels. So, you can take your existing compatible Night Owl wired cameras and just connect them to this unit using your existing wired cabling. Then you can add up to 4 x Wi-Fi devices should you desire. - Answer Most Night Owl DVR/NVRs can accommodate larger hard drives. See your product Specifications for the max size. Our DVR/NVRs are compatible with internal SATA HDD's, 2.5" or 3.5". The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. We are not able to guarantee compatibility with external hard drives at this time. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
