You may place the wireless cameras up to 300ft away from the Night Owl Wireless NVR. Please do keep in mind that variables, such as walls and certain materials like metal and concrete, may interfere with the connection and how far you may place the cameras from the Night Owl Wireless NVR. When going through the initial set up, make sure the cameras are near the Wireless NVR and install them after they are the system is fully pair. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.

Honestly I have mine right at the 200ft mark away from my reciever. It still picks up just as good as right next to it. I'm very pleased with this setup and would reccomend it to anyone.
