• Has to be hardwired. The cameras connect via Wi-Fi to the router.

• Yes, DVR requires hardwired to internet router for remote access the videos.

• The DVR unit has to be hard wired to your router with an ethernet cable.

• In order to remotely view the system from a smart device, PC or Mac, yes the NVR will need to be hardwired to your router/modem. However, to simply view it on a TV or Monitor, your do not need an Internet connection. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!
