• No, the camera will not record if the network video recorder is unplugged.

• No. All recordings are stored to the NVR's pre-installed Hard Drive. If the wireless NVR is not turned on, the cameras, though still powered on, will not be able to connect to the NVR to store the recordings. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
