QuestionI have no internet or Wifi can I still use these cameras?

- Answer Great question. You can absolutely still use the cameras without WiFi or the internet. You can simply connect the system to a TV or computer monitor to view live video feed and recordings. The system only needs to be connected to a modem/router if you wish to view it remotely on a PC/MAC or a smart device. In order to remotely view your system, you must manually connect an Ethernet cable from your modem/router to the NVR. Thank you for choosing Night Owl and Have a Great Day!

QuestionI am very disappointed with the range it picks up for sound. Especially people talking. Can this be changed anyway? Impressed otherwise with the quality. Have not tried to hook to internet or view from phone yet

- Answer The cameras detect audio up to 20 ft. away. That is the distance limitation of the audio for these select cameras. This technology will improve over time, but is not there yet. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

QuestionWhen a camera senses motion and starts recording, can the other cameras be viewed the same time the recording camera is on? Is the viewing screen only 4 squares (one for each camera) or can the cameras be monitored one at a time in rolling motion?

- Answer They do not come with a monitor but you can use a small tv as a monitor and there are apps for mobile use they work great.. I comes with cameras the dvr and power cords

- Answer Yes, as long as there is An internet connection to your camera monitor. Download the app, while on the same internet network and pair it with the options on the app. When I am away from home, I check up on the house. A cool thing is you can project your sound through the speakers on the cameras as well.
