- Answer I have one at least 200 feet from the system and it has no problem. But it only has to go through one wall. I suppose the more walls and floors you have to go through, the shorter the overall range will be.

- Answer You may place the wireless cameras up to 300ft away from the Night Owl Wireless NVR. Please do keep in mind that variables, such as walls and certain materials like metal and concrete, may interfere with the connection and how far you may place the cameras from the Night Owl Wireless NVR. When going through the initial set up, make sure the cameras are near the Wireless NVR and install them after they are the system is fully pair. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.

- Answer The cameras come with an electrical plug that you must plug into an electrical (120v) outlet. The wireless part is that it uses your wireless internet system to feed the camera's signal back to the internet.

Please keep in mind, we set a minimum requirement of 2mbps for upload speed so you may use the remote viewing for most of our systems.
