“Inquiry Hi, My parents are requesting for a CCTV as a gift. I'm looking at night owl products but couldn't figure out which one to buy. Does wireless CCTV need an internet connection? or do I just buy a wired one. I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.”

A hard wired system does not work with a wireless connection to Internet. Our systems require a hard wire or Ethernet cable between the DVR and a router with fast speed internet connection. Once this connection is done, you can setup the system to be remotely accessed. The router you have CAN be wireless, but the connection between the router and the DVR MUST be hard wired. We do not offer at this moment wireless solutions.
