Good Afternoon, you will need to have an available monitor to connect the DVR to watch the live stream and set it up. Everything else you need is included in the packaging. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You really just need an internet connection for it via Ethernet. A general knowledge of how to plug things in and the ability to download a free app! It is really simple and easy to use. I have set up about 20 of these systems and they are really easy. You just have to plug in the DVR to power, connect it to your router via ethernet cable (does not have WiFi) and then plug all the cameras into the DVR. The camera wires also need power, so it will use 2 power plugs. One for the cameras and one for the DVR. Gets tricky when you are trying to get clever on trying to hid everything. I believe in you though! Best thing about this system is there is no monthly subscription or anything like that. Once you buy the system you can access them anywhere anytime for free. Great cameras. High quality, great picture, and easy set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The system comes with all cables but if you are putting your cameras farther than what the cables can reach you may need additional cable. You will need a monitor or a tv will work as it comes with a hdmi cable and you will need to plug it to the internet if you want to go mobile with it. Good system over all.
