The other end is to power the camera locally with a camera power adapter, if needed. This will likely only be needed if the distance between the camera and NVR presents a power issue and you need to power the camera near the camera installation location. Using the provided Ethernet cabling within 100 ft. of the NVR, you shouldn't need the power adapter. Thank you!
