It depends on your level of comfortability with technology and cable installation. Running the cables through your walls or attic, tends to be the difficult part of installation that many customers hire installers for. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It was not bad at all my cousins know how to install cameras so they did it for me and I have each on 4 corners and they work great and have an HD View. I can see clearly even at night
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.System is pretty easy to install. I am an electrician but I wouldn't say you would need to hire one to install the cameras, but if you don't feel comfortable running wires or mounting cameras I'm sure there are electricians or installers that would be happy to do so for you. Best I can say is just be mindful of where you put the cameras. Put them somewhere with 'some' protection from weather you don't really want water getting on them or the BNC an power connections to the cameras.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is some difficulty in installing these. You will most likely need to use a ladder to get them up high enough to prevent vandals from messing with them. You will also have to dill holes for the cables and to mount the cameras. A good solution is to run the cables in the attic or someplace where they can be hidden. I ran my cables in the rafters of my garage and through the eaves of my house where I had access though vents. I then ran them all down an inside wall where I cut in a hole the size of a normal outlet opening and purchased a cover for the wires to run through. This does require that you have access to the attic and eaves.
