“Can the DVR connect wireless or does it have to be hard wired to the internet?”

• No. This particular DVR can not connect wireless because it does not have wifi capability. I connect it with the internet using the lan connection, it has better connectivity and more secure in my opinion. To connect wireless, it is imperative that the DVR has wifi capability.
