• I could playback on my phone through the app. You will get a notification if you have pushed the notifications. You can playback on your computer monitor.

• Yes, in order to remotely view the cameras on a PC/Mac or smart device, you will need to connect them to a compatible DVR and connect that DVR to your Modem or Router via the included Ethernet cable. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

• You need a DVR, it's not IP camera. I am using with a HD DVR from NighTowl.
