I have a plug-in on my porch, so I just take off the cover and plug a cable into it while it's on the wall. I don't have a pre-existing doorbell system. I just use my phone with mine.

There is no existing wiring and impossible to get them to this exterior wall. Looks like I will have to take off and charge with the 6 inch provided cord? Lol

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no “charging” for the doorbell. It’s powered constantly because it is connected to the current wiring for your current doorbell. One of the reasons why I bought it.
