• A:Answer The AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D lens can be used on the Nikon D3400, however it will not be able to auto focus. The D3400 can auto focus specifically with lenses that are listed AF-S and AF-P, this lens is just an AF. If you need more information, please feel free to contact Nikon Customer Support.

• A:Answer Yes, the FM10 is compatible with the AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Lens. The FM10 is able to autofocus with AF type lenses with D type apertures. Newer AF-S and AF-P type lenses will not work on this camera.
